If you’ve been paying attention to all the JRNI news recently, then you’ve certainly heard about our new product suite, JRNI Forward, which is designed to help companies get back to business during COVID-19. (What’s that? You haven’t heard about JRNI Forward? Let us fix that for you.)
There’s a lot going on in our JRNI Forward suite - because we know that you need a lot to make sure that you can reopen safely. To give you even more insight into how we can help you do this, we wanted to take a moment to call out some of the top things you can do with JRNI that you may not know about.
Showcase your products during virtual events
Virtual events are all the rage these days, of course, and brands are finding all kinds of ways to connect with their customers using this format. In some cases, brands who already held in-person events are moving to a virtual setting - whether it’s wine or food tastings, home-buying advisory sessions, or something else. In other cases, brands are getting creative and coming up with new types of events, like bookstores doing virtual readings.
Whatever the use case, there are a lot of opportunities to use these events to showcase your products - but you also have to be careful that you successfully achieve the delicate mix of content and selling. In most cases, customers come to your events to learn first, and buy second - so if all you’re doing is selling, then you’re probably doing it wrong.
That’s why we at JRNI made sure that you’re able to hold the right kind of virtual events - ones that provide the valuable content that makes customers trust you in the first place, while also making it simple for them to purchase a relevant product. Our product showcase option allows you to display a product image in the corner of the broadcast of your live event, which then directs attendees directly to the product page when clicked. For example, if you’re using a live event to demonstrate makeup techniques, you could have a link to the beauty product being used right in the corner of the screen. Balancing content and selling is as easy as that.
Make sure your customers don’t have to wait in line to get in line
Disney recently made news when it was reported that there was an hour-long wait to join a queue to get into one of their retail stores. In other words: People were waiting in line just so that they could get into another (virtual) line. In case it’s not already obvious, three reasons why that’s bad:
- Everybody hates lines, even when there isn’t a global pandemic.
- Physically waiting in line is not social-distancing-friendly.
- Long lines outside stores discourage people from entering.
With JRNI, you can fix this problem by posting a QR code for all your visitors. All it takes is a quick scan with their phone for customers to join a queue entirely on their own - instead of waiting in a line to get someone else to do it manually. Then, once they’re in the queue, they can “wait in line” from the comfort of their home, their air-conditioned car, or another errand. It’s all virtual - no actual line-standing required. Much better, don’t you agree?
Native remote appointments
Sure, you can conduct video appointments by integrating with other tools, like Zoom. But the great thing about JRNI is - you don’t have to. Don’t want to manage another piece of technology? Don’t want to go through another InfoSec approval process? And, most of all - want it to make it as easy as possible for your customers to connect with you?
By using JRNI remote appointments, you can do it all - right from within the JRNI interface. Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and join video meetings - without ever having to open another application, or add one more browser tab to that growing list. For your customers, it’s just as easy - a single click on their email invite opens up a browser window where the appointment takes place.
Here at JRNI, we’re continuing to work every day to make sure your job is as easy as possible - whether it’s during a pandemic or not. To find out all the ways we can help you reopen safely, drop us a line!
